OSIC URN Guide
The Ohio Standard Identifier Code (OSIC) is a system to identify any granular statement in the Ohio Academic Content Standards. This code system provides a straightforward method to coorelate content standard statements with resources in content management systems.
The OSIC structure is a register-based URN value that describes the path of a statement from the root of a standards document to a particular item. The fields of theOSIC start with the most general parts of a standard document and become progressivly more specific.
